Adrian is a boy with a clean cut, clean shaven face. He keeps his hair short and neat, taking pride in all of his appearance generally as he worried a lot about his social status and how he looks to people. As such, he tends to come off as handsome, if not a little try-hard.[break][break]

He is short, but lean and muscular. He has a fighter's build, as he has been involved in many a scrap throughout the last couple of years. As a result, he has a few scars here and there, mainly hidden underneath his clothing.[break][break]

He tends to wear button ups over his shirts, no matter the weather. He loves wearing hoodies, jackets, and coats. Besides that, he's almost always wearing jeans of various colors, the most common being black and red. He's also adorned in plenty of accessories on his hands, wrists, and neck.[break][break]

He's often compared to Valo, his best friend jokingly stating that if he grew his hair out, he'd look just like him.

biography

Adrian Taivas was born into a poor family, but lost his parents at a young age. Eero Morei, CEO of Morei Tech, claimed to have been a close friend of his father's, and thus adopted Adrian. He met Valo, Hailey, and Chastity, and the Morei children had become his closest friends. The four of them grew up together, and were inseparable through thick and thin.[break][break]

A few years later, tragedy struck. On the way back from one of Cassie's recitals, the vehicle carrying the children was struck and waylaid in the forest outside of the family home. A mercenary by the name of Alymira Hargrave had found them, claiming she was contracted to hunt them down. Adrian was separated from his siblings and forced into the custody of her henchmen, who proceeded to torture and abuse him.[break][break]

After what felt like weeks, he was finally rescued by his father and the Hiraeth City Police Department. He learned that his siblings were rescued, and they were all taken home. While they were safe, the trauma had permanently scarred them. His brother, Valo, remained trapped in his room for months, having suffered firsthand at Alymira's hands.[break][break]

Adrian had his own demons to deal with.[break][break]

Not wanting to suffer such a fate ever again, Adrian took to training his body and his mind. In time, he would start to leave home in the dead of night, getting into trouble and picking fights, sometimes with Valo by his side. On one of his many ventures, the two of them would run into a man named Bishop. Having been fending for himself for as long as he could remember, he made the perfect teacher for the duo. He taught them how to use a bow, and helped them improve their hand-to-hand combat techniques.[break][break]

Unknown to their mentor, the pair would use their newfound skills to combat the growing crime rate in the city. Masks and weaponry made them feel invincible, if not dangerous. Adrian would grow more confident in his abilities before turning to the mystery that surrounded that night they were taken. [break][break]

Not making much progress in the months that followed, Adrian caught wind of Valo making moves against Alymira. He was beset with grief over the loss of someone he loved, and he believed that Alymira had taken her. Not wanting to leave his brother in need of help, Adrian enlisted the aid of Acacia Sinclaire, a mercenary he had met out in the field prior. [break][break]

The two rushed to Valo's aid as the showdown at Morei Tech began. Adrian was shocked to find Alymira laying in a heap of glass on the ground floor, tempted to put her out of her misery. She warned him that Valo's time was near, and he would rush up to the CEO's office to find an unconscious Valo being set upon by a heavily armored assailant.[break][break]

Opening fire, the assailant stopped and turned to face Adrian. In a single motion, he was floored and beaten down. Ignoring the screams of his sisters, the armored warrior would grab Valo before leaping from the broken window. It was all Adrian could do to watch helplessly as they vanished.[break][break]

Weeks later, Valo's body would turn up at the riverbank.[break][break]

It's been five years. And Adrian never forgot the anger and drive to avenge his brother. In a Hiraeth City that's more desolate and bleak than ever, he works double time to protect those he loves while trying to find his brother's killer. [break][break]

Adrian is a reserved, sometimes brash young man. He's prone to picking fights, even ones he probably won't win. He's rather cocky due to how often he's been fighting, though at times he'll be more down to earth.[break][break]

He has a deep rooted jealousy in him that causes him to act the way he does, and he dwells on bad behaviors in order to cope. He has a desire to be the best, but the question is, at what?[break][break]

A lot of what he does is not only an attempt to impress people and look alpha, but to prove to himself that he isn't some insignificant blight on mankind or the Morei family that more or less took him in.[break][break]

Adrian is strong, believing in dominance through his fists. He uses this power to deal decisive blows in an attempt to save time and energy, rather than drag a fight on too long.[break][break]

He is very quick and nimble on his feet. He likes to catch his opponents off-guard with quick movements, and if needed, have a chance to escape before things get too dicey.[break][break]

Adrian is shockingly observant for someone as brash as he is. He grew up under the same circumstances as Valo, hence picked up some things from their teacher. He is very aware of what goes on in a battle, trying to pay as much attention as possible to his opponent to ensure he can win.[break][break]

Incredibly arrogant. Adrian's biggest downfall is that he has too much confidence in his own ability as a fighter, and it makes him not as cautious as he needs to be.[break][break]

Tunnel vision. While he focuses heavily on his opponent's every action with great analytical precision, he loses focus on what's going on around him. This leaves him open to sneak attacks.[break][break]

Hard headed. Adrian's brashness won't let him back down even when the situation is so grim that it could potentially get him killed. He's been beaten worse than he should have in many situations as a result.[break][break]
